I am a student at Mountain View High School in California. I was fortunate enough to grow up with teachers and parents who supported and encouraged me in all of my endeavors. My journey with climate activism began in 4th grade, when we first learned about climate change in school. Back in elementary school, I started a small environmental club with my friends where we created posters to spread awareness around our school. For a school project, I even wrote a letter to the mayor of my town, sharing my thoughts on climate change and the urgent need for action.
Looking back, I realize how easy it is for this passion to fade without support and clear goals to focus on. That’s why I think it’s so important to harness this enthusiasm at a young age. It would have been so much easier to make an impact if I had clear, short-term goals to work towards. That’s why I’ve created this website: to inspire kids like me to take simple, meaningful steps to fight climate change and feel empowered to make a difference—starting today!
